29:8. దావీదు, “నేను ఏమి తప్పుచేసాను? నేను నీ దగ్గరకు వచ్చిన రోజునుండి ఈ రోజు వరకు నీవు నాలో ఏమి తప్పు కనుగొన్నావు? నా యజమానివైన రాజు యొక్క శత్రువులతో నన్నెందుకు పోరాడనివ్వవు?” అని దావీదు అడిగాడు.

29:8. దావీదునేనేమి చేసితిని? నా యేలినవాడవగు రాజా, నీ శత్రువులతో యుద్ధముచేయుటకై నేను రాకుండునట్లు నీయొద్దకు వచ్చిన దినమునుండి నేటివరకు నీ దాసుడనై నాయందు తప్పేమి కనబడెనని ఆకీషు నడిగెను.

29:8. But David said to Achish, "What have I done? What have you found in your servant from the day that I first came into your presence until the present time, that I shouldn't go and fight the enemies of my lord the king?"

29:8. "What have I done to deserve this treatment?" David demanded. "What have you ever found in your servant, that I can't go and fight the enemies of my lord the king?"

29:8. And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been before thee unto this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?

29:8. And David said to Achish, "But what have I done? What have you found in your servant from the day I entered your service until now, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?"

29:8. And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been with thee unto this day, that I may not go fight against the enemies of my lord the king?

29:8. And David said to Achish, "But what have I done? What have you found in your servant from the day I entered your service until now, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?"

29:8. And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been before thee unto this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?

29:8. David asked, "What have I done wrong? Have you found anything wrong with me since the day I came to you? So why won't you let me go to fight the enemies of my lord the king?"

29:8. David said to Achish, But what have I done? and what have you found in your servant so long as I have been before you to this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?
